Prawns… The easiest way to please any tummy! This dish truly spells home cooked. Have your favorite baguette warmed up as you will surely want to scrape all that sauce out of the plate. Simple and quick to prepare, this recipe will surely be a hit on your dinner table!
Yield: 4 servings or 1 hungry Miguel and Mom (see About).
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 6-8 Whole Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 tsp. Sweet Paprika
- 20 pieces Large Prawns
- Lemon, juice and zest
- Flat Leaf Parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Good crusty bread, slightly toasted
- Salt and Pepper
Season prawns with salt and pepper. Heat pan and add oil and butter on medium heat. Pour in garlic, pepper flakes, and paprika. Sauté for a minute or two until garlic softens. Turn up the heat and add the prawns. Cook until they turn red in color. Remove from heat. Plate and squeeze lemon juice. Sprinkle Remove immediately from heat. Sprinkle chopped parsley. Serve immediately with preheated bread and enjoy!
